Our Teachers

All of our teachers are passionate about music and the development of children.

They create a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development.

Katie Judge grew up a California girl and found her way to Portland, OR where she graduated from Multnomah University with a BA in Speech Communications. She found her way to Alaska with family to find work, and has come to love all that Alaska has to offer, including camping, hiking, fishing , and epic scenery.

Katie has a background in piano, flute, ukulele, singing, and acting. She especially enjoys hanging out with kids and has worked as a nanny, camp counselor, and social worker. She can usually be found narrating her day through song with her own kids. Katie found out about Music Together by accident and is very excited to be teaching with Timbre Music!

Karen's love for music was reignited after bringing her two sons to Music Together classes. She was very involved with music in her youth, playing piano, guitar and tuba and singing in choir, but got busy with life. She graduated from the University of Santa Barbara with a BS in Geology and a  Masters in Education and taught high school science.

She moved to Alaska in 2012 from southern California and started the most epic adventure of her life, motherhood. Along with being a mom she teaches kid and prenatal yoga. She is very excited to join the Music Together Team! Come sing, wiggle and play with her!

Chelsea Haddock was born and raised in Alaska. Fishing, camping, XC skiing and harvesting the natural resources that Alaska has to offer are a few of her favorite outdoor activities. She has enjoyed being a nanny for many years in Washington and Alaska, now a mother of two. She registered her daughter in Miss Hannah's class 3 years ago and has enjoyed applying the tools she's learned in class at home, in the car at the grocery store, anywhere! Cultivating a musical relationship with her children and others through Music Together reignited her own joy for music and movement. She knew it was where she wanted to be!
